The Main Thread Is a Queueing Problem
A practical model for the browser work waiting behind one long task.
Design reference
A visual test page for editorial primitives, content rows, keyboard labels, figures, and restrained callouts.
Typography
The lead paragraph sets the pace. It is larger than body copy, but it still needs to read like prose rather than a landing-page slogan.
Normal paragraphs stay between eighteen and twenty pixels on larger screens. Inline code such as requestAnimationFrame() is distinct without becoming a bright pill in the middle of a sentence.
A useful abstraction tells you what it hides. A dangerous one makes you forget anything was hidden.
